Technical Lead /Project Engineer- Marine

The primary responsibility of a Project Engineer is to oversee all technical aspects of the project, covering a wide range of Neptunus offerings including CAT, MAN, Wartsila, Niigata, EMD engines, various thruster models, and technology products like Engine Condition Monitoring System and Oil Quality Management Systems. The Project Engineer may be assigned to multiple domains based on their specialization, with the potential for growth over time. Key responsibilities include providing technical solutions and support for projects to meet business revenue targets, ensuring zero rework, zero delays, and high customer satisfaction on every job. This involves working closely with customers during the enquiry stage to understand their needs, document project requirements, and technical specifications to minimize errors during project execution. Moreover, the Project Engineer is expected to propose solution architectures, bill of materials, and work scopes, as well as collaborate with salespersons to engage multiple stakeholders within the customer's organization. Once an order is received, seamless handover to the operations team is essential for smooth execution, emphasizing the importance of accuracy in documentation and information. Continuous improvement is a key focus area for the Project Engineer, aiming to reduce delivery time on-site compared to the baseline, identify areas for improvement post-project completion, and incorporate feedback into standard processes. Building and enhancing both personal and team capabilities through technology adoption and training, as well as maintaining standard documents and checklists, are essential for operational efficiency.
