Job Description

Job Title:

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Job

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Java-based APIs and microservices.
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.
Integrate services with databases, third-party APIs, and internal systems.
Ensure application performance, security, and high availability.
Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines and testing automation.
Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.

Technical Skills:

Programming:
Java (Version 8,17/21), Spring Boot, Spring Security
API Development:
RESTful APIs using JSON/XML, Swagger/Open API documentation
Database:
PostgreSQL / Cockroach
Cloud Exposure:
AWS (ECS, EKS preferred)
CI/CD Tools:
Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven/Gradle
Testing:
JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber
Monitoring Tools:
Grafana, Splunk, Datadog (good to have)
Infrastructure-as-Code:
Basic knowledge of Terraform is a plus
Methodology:
Agile/Scrum

Preferred Experience:

Exposure to banking, payments, or financial domains.
Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
Java or Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
