Technical Lead or Project Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Technical Team Leadership and Development: Manage, mentor, and support multiple team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment that enables each team member to reach their full potential and thereby improve productivity.

• Project Planning and Execution: Lead planning and execution of software development projects, helping to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
• Technical Guidance and Decision-Making: Provide technical direction for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, utilizing best practices to achieve efficiency and scalability
• Process Improvement: Implement and optimize development processes, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to enhance team productivity, quality, and transparency in delivery • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, QA, and Platform teams to define product requirements, establish release goals, and ensure alignment between development and business objectives
• Performance and Code Quality: Establish and uphold coding standards, code reviews, and testing practices to ensure high-quality code and minimize technical debt
• Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify potential project risks, technical challenges, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the project milestones, lead and guide the development team in coding and project execution, ensuring adherence to the best practices in software development.
• Directly participate in project planning, daily/weekly reviews of code check-in, checkout, and maintaining a hands-on approach to software architecture along with design and quality assurance.
• Address client concerns about products development, code quality and team performance.
• Work with Project Manager, Manage key deliverables, Estimation Process, Project Planning, Project timelines ensuring effective collaboration and communication with remote teams in UK.
• Coordinate with team members and drive the training programs and ramp-up plans for new joiners, ensuring a seamless integration into the team.
• Use Azure DevOps to design, implement, and manage the CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee the infrastructure provisioning and deployments
• Actively monitor and optimize the Azure environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Use the top of industry trends and best practices for design-development, and other solutions in a comprehensive manner to boost operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of experience in a software development with hands-on coding experience.

• 3+ years of experience in Managing software development.

• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Azure, React JS & React Native, DevOps.

• Proven ability in leading and managing a development team with a focus on delivery, productivity improvement, mentorship and team development.

• Expertise with cloud platform deployment and REST services.

• Excellent in conflict resolution, prioritization, and critical thinking abilities.
