Job Title:

Technical Lead – Automation

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3–5 software developers and automation engineers.
  
• Provide technical guidance, career development, and performance feedback.
  
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
  

Technical Architecture & Automation:

• Define and implement the technical roadmap for internal automation and software systems.
  
• Drive automation initiatives for operational efficiency and scalability.
  
• Ensure high standards of coding, security, and software performance.
  

Project Delivery:

• Manage the entire SDLC, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  
• Implement Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  

Innovation & Technology Evaluation:

• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in automation and cloud computing.
  
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance development efficiency.
  

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders including product, operations, sales, and leadership teams.
  
• Advocate for technical initiatives and represent the tech team in strategy discussions.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 8–12 years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
  
• Strong expertise in automation tools, SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Solid understanding of software architecture, security, and system design.
  
• Experience in leading end-to-end development and managing technical teams.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Good to Have:

• Experience working in hybrid or remote development teams.
  
• Knowledge of AI/ML-based automation systems.
  
• Budgeting or cost optimization experience in software projects.
