Technical Lead - Asp.net - Gurugram

Responsibilities

The role involves developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining .NET-based middle-layer/service applications in line with established processes. A key responsibility is to ensure adherence to best coding practices to support the creation of high-performance, data-processing backend applications. The candidate will also be responsible for managing a team of skilled developers, ensuring timely and quality delivery of project milestones.

Additional responsibilities include identifying both production and non-production application issues and assisting the team in formulating optimal solutions. The role also requires proactively identifying opportunities to fine-tune and optimize .NET-based applications through periodic code reviews. The candidate will be expected to provide technical support and consultation related to backend applications and deployment-related queries.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• WCF/Web Services (using C# .NET):

  Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience, preferably over HTTPS.

• Secure ASP.NET Web API (REST or SOAP based):

  At least 2 years of hands-on experience.

• Advanced JavaScript Frameworks:

  At least 1 year of experience in Node.js and 1 year in any other JS framework.

• .NET-based Windows Services:

  Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience.

• SQL Server (2012/2014):

  Over 3 years of experience writing high-performance SQL queries. Experience with SQL Server 2016 and MySQL is preferable.

• Message Queue Technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka):

  Prior experience in message-queue-based architecture is preferred.

• Distributed Cache Management (e.g., Redis, MemCached):

  Experience with distributed caching is desirable.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience developing high-performance, scalable middle-layer applications based on SOA architecture, ideally involving end-to-end development from inception to deployment.
  
• Practical exposure to high-volume, in-memory data processing applications (ETL development), including at least one production-grade deployment handling large datasets.
  
• Familiarity with SaaS (Software as a Service) development and Agile software development methodologies.
  
• Experience with source code management practices across Development, QA, and Production environments.
  
• Exposure to performance and load testing of web services/APIs.
  
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in managing a technology development team, including task planning and execution.
  
• Understanding and practical experience in developing applications based on microservices architecture.
  
• Familiarity with unit-test-driven development practices, preferably using tools such as NUnit.

Education & Working Experience

• B.E/B.Tech in computer science, MCA/MSc
• 7+ years of full in .Net enterprise application development. Should have been involved in design, develop and maintain .Net based Middle Tier applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
