Technical & IP Documentation Specialist Intern

As a sharp, detail-obsessed wordsmith with a passion for science, innovation, and intellectual property, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technology and narrative. Your responsibilities will include: - Prepare high-quality technical documents, white papers, and grant proposals. - Conduct patent searches, FTO (Freedom to Operate) analysis, and prior art reviews. - Assist in drafting, filing, and maintaining patents and related IP filings. - Collaborate with R&D, legal, and leadership teams to capture and articulate innovations. - Stay updated on funding opportunities, innovation challenges, and IP regulations. - Work on scientific communication for regulatory dossiers, presentations, and reports. - Organize and maintain a central database of IP assets, grants, and technical files. - Support brainstorming sessions and document technical meetings effectively. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications: - Strong technical writing skills - clear, precise, and engaging. - Background in science, engineering, life sciences, or a related field. - Familiarity with patent systems (Indian/US/EU preferred) and grant mechanisms (BIRAC, DST, DBT, etc., is a plus). - Excellent research and analytical skills. - High attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of patent databases (Google Patents, WIPO, etc.). - Bonus: Experience with IP management tools or grant platforms.
