Technical Improvement Engineer

As a Technical Improvement Engineer at Burckhardt Compression, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support, assistance, and advice for compressors. Your responsibilities will include being the technical contact point for all customers for improvement cases, supporting the sales team in the offering phase, analyzing cases, preparing technical damage reports, and developing troubleshooting solutions with possible improvement schemes. Additionally, you will be involved in root cause analyses, customer complaints coordination, and enhancing customer satisfaction through timely services and better technical support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support, assistance, and advice for compressors - Act as the technical contact point for all customers for improvement cases - Support the sales team in the offering phase for improvement cases - Analyze cases and evaluate the technical complexity - Prepare technical damage reports of medium complexity - Develop and execute interim troubleshooting solutions - Support the Life Cycle Cost Analyses for improvement cases - Contribute to knowledge management and sharing - Conduct Root Cause Analyses and coordinate customer complaints - Enhance customer satisfaction through timely services and better technical support - Develop training material and provide training on improvement topics - Ensure adherence to deployed BC Quality system Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - Minimum 5-7 years of similar experience - Analytical skills and technical decision-making abilities - Good communication skills in English (written & verbal) - Experience in presentations and training Working at Burckhardt Compression, you will experience a free culture that encourages employees to engage in various activities of their interests.
