About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Technical Implementation Owner (TIO)
specializing in
network security and basic cybersecurity
to drive the successful deployment of security solutions. The TIO is responsible for the hands-on implementation of security configurations, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective protection of enterprise infrastructure.
- Be a key team member in projects, working with Project Managers to ensure that projects are on time, , and in agreement with
- Implement/Migrate different security solutions (MFW, UTM, Cache Management, MAV, MWS, Mobile SSL,SIEM and IDP/IPS). This includes racking, installing approved operating system, installing required software packages, installing patches & hot-fixes, configuring the solution & shipping to customer site.
- Make independent decisions and take action regarding on the spot operational corrections within standardized practices and procedures
Work with diverse teams and cultures to achieve organizational goalseetings with customers and formal presentation of a technical solution to customers.
About You
- Experience in delivering training workshops on security awareness topics is an advantage
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Effective communication at all levels and to diverse client groups - both technical and non-technical
Security Implementation: Configure, deploy, and optimize network security solutions, including firewalls, SSL/TLS encryption, proxies, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.Project Execution: Implement security solutions as per architectural designs and customer requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices.Incident Support: Assist with troubleshooting security incidents related to firewall rules, network policies, and secure connectivity.Policy Enforcement: Apply security policies, harden configurations, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and PCI DSS.Collaboration: Work with Security Architects, Security Consultants, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.Documentation: Maintain detailed implementation runbooks, network diagrams, and security configurations for audits and compliance.Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation in security configurations using scripts and policy automation tools.Technical SkillsProxy: Zscaler: Zscaler offers a cloud-native security platform, eliminating the need for traditional on-premises proxy appliances.ZscalerIronPort: Cisco's IronPort appliances have been integrated into Cisco's Email Security Appliances (ESA) and Web Security Appliances (WSA).Blue Coat Proxy (SG Series): The latest models include the ProxySG S200, S400, and S500 series.Support Documents and DownloadsFirewalls: Check Point: The current lineup features the Quantum Security Gateways, with models like the 1500, 1600, 1800, and 3000 series, offering up to 1.5 Tbps of threat prevention performance.Check Point Software
