Job Description: 1. The candidate should have a good understanding of Firewall technologies Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet. 2. Should have very good understanding of firewall subnets, Network zones, DMZ and Firewall rules 3. Experience working on performing dependency mapping for servers and applications so that only minimum required services/ports are only allowed on the firewalls. 4. Experience performing firewall rule base audits to identify the risk rules, unused objects and rules, too widely defined rules. 5. Experience working on identifying the risky rules and working with the server, application owners in validating the same before removing those rules from the firewall. 6. Able to review and identify risk associated with the rules allowing public access to internal resources. 7. Should be able to analyze the firewall traffic logs and recommend as to what all needs to be allowed so that the applications and services keep working with minimum required source, destination, and services. 8. Should have experience documenting firewall rule base review and ensure its repeated use in the environment to reduce overall risk. 9. Should have experience working on firewall assurance tools, Skybox, Algosec, etc. 10. Should have exposure working on Panorama and help identifying threat via correlating firewall access logs with vulnerabilities. 11. Should have experience working on firewall hardening to ensure configuration relates vulnerabilities are addressed. 12. Should have a good understanding of various compliance requirements like PCIDSS etc.
