Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in cloud-native development, 12-Factor App principles, and event-driven architecture, along with demonstrated capabilities in agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of back-end services, ensuring timely and high-quality releases
• Lead and mentor a focused team of back-end engineers across design, coding, testing, and deployment activities
• Act as Scrum Lead, driving sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
• Architect and implement 12-Factor cloud-native applications emphasizing scalability, portability, and CI/CD
• Design and deliver distributed systems using C#/.NET and AWS-native services (Angular familiarity is a plus)
• Build event-driven architectures leveraging AWS EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, and SQS
• Implement microservices architectures with service boundaries and asynchronous communication patterns
• Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework (operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, sustainability)
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Establish observability strategies with OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and X-Ray for proactive monitoring
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on operational metrics and outcomes
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in technical leadership roles
• 2+ years as Engineering Manager with delivery and people management responsibility
• Deep expertise in AWS services (EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, Aurora)
• Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET, TypeScript, and RESTful API development
• Experience with Angular (v10+), HTML5, CSS3, and front-end integration
• Strong knowledge of 12-Factor methodology with production implementations
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps (including container security)
• Strong leadership and inclusive management practices, with demonstrated cross-functional collaboration
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Multi-cloud exposure: Azure, Google Cloud
• Experience with advanced architectural patterns (DDD, CQRS, Event Sourcing)
• Hands-on container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, cloud-native deployments)
