Technical delivery Manager

As a Technical Delivery Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading multiple cross-functional teams to successfully deliver complex software projects using Java or .NET technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading end-to-end delivery of multiple software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality. - Collaborating closely with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to facilitate smooth project delivery. - Defining project scope, timelines, milestones, and budgets, and providing progress reports to senior leadership. - Identifying and mitigating delivery risks, handling escalations, and resolving blockers effectively. - Driving Agile/Scrum best practices, sprint planning, and release planning to ensure project success. - Managing and mentoring a team of technical leads, developers, and other engineering resources. - Ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and quality benchmarks. - Coordinating with clients/stakeholders to manage expectations and align project outcomes with business goals. Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of IT experience, with a minimum of 4+ years in a delivery/project/program management capacity. - Strong hands-on experience in Java or .NET development in the past. - Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, multi-team software delivery initiatives. - Expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, and proficiency in project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. - Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to effectively manage onsite teams.
