Job Position: Technical Delivery Manager Experience: 8+ years Location: Hyderabad, Gurugram, Pune Technical Skill: BigData, DWH, ETL, Any Cloud Responsibilities The successful candidate will be a team leader. Candidate will work with a team of full time and consultant developers and QA engineers to develop a set of systems to support the program including data transfer services, back end software infrastructure, a reporting and analytics engine, and various parsers. Candidate will own the SW system development process from ideation through long-term sustaining ownership, release, and will be responsible for keeping the applications current with periodic releases. Drive development across multiple teams to create and maintain a holistic set of systems Demonstrated ability to work & lead in an agile perspective for all SW development & commit to fast release schedule Working with the Project Owner/Sponsor to confirm the project scope and goals, objectives and business justification, secure project resources (people and budget) and re-iterate the mandate for the project. Preparing a detailed project work-plan with associated resource requirement profile identification. Creating, maintaining and updating key project documentation. Leading, monitoring and maintaining progress of the project to ensure delivery of goals within the agreed constraints of time, cost and quality. Controlling and reporting progress to the Project Steering Group/Project Sponsor and managing any issues, as appropriate. Initiating corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track. Playing a lead role in defining an effective communication strategy for the project, including communicating and consulting with key stakeholders. Identify interdependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated and communicated. Must be able to lead and work effectively in globally distributed small to medium sized teams Conduct regular code reviews to keep codebase in compliance with rigorous code review standards Conduct design reviews and provide assurance that all modules fit to proposed architecture Familiarity with and ability to implement test-driven-development methodologies Commitment to long-term sustaining application ownership Ability to conduct R&D and PoCs Takes ownership and ability to delegate assigned tasks with responsibilities. Institutes and participates in corrective actions to ensure closure / resolution. Required Skills >5 years leading software development teams Data Analytics project delivery / data platform projects experience Technical project management experience and the ability to manage projects no matter what the technology involved Experience of more than one data solution design and data delivery methodologies Experience in Big Data Solutions including experience in Spark, Python/Scala, SQL, HBase Kafka and other tools in Hadoop ecosystem. Experience with any of the cloud services i.e. GCP / AWS / Azure Exposure to Git, Jira
