Technical Content Strategist

As a Technical Content Strategist at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and executing a content strategy that effectively communicates complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Your collaboration with various teams will ensure the creation of high-quality content that aligns with our brand voice and goals. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing a content strategy and roadmap for technical documentation, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, API docs, knowledge base, etc. - Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to gather input and ensure technical accuracy. - Writing, editing, and maintaining content such as technical articles, tutorials, developer guides, architecture overviews, release notes, and system documentation. - Auditing existing technical content to identify gaps and update outdated material. - Ensuring all content is optimized for SEO, discoverability, readability, and user experience. - Using metrics and analytics to measure content performance and creating templates and guidelines for consistent structure, style, tone, and formatting. - Coordinating content review cycles, managing version control, and enforcing content standards. - Staying up to date with industry trends, relevant tools, and best practices in technical writing, content strategy, and developer experience. - Conducting regular content audits to identify gaps and opportunities, and analyzing content performance using data to drive recommendations for improvement. The qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., English Honors, Literature, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience. - Prior experience in technical content creation, content strategy, or technical writing, ideally 2+ years. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment. - Experience with writing about Salesforce technologies, platforms, or implementations is a plus. - Familiarity with product documentation.
