Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to validate solution design and requirements.
• Support data dictionary and metadata governance processes for analytical and operational datasets.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and data engineers to align delivery with business expectations.

• Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and detailed test cases in coordination with business and technical teams.
• Perform hands-on functional, regression, and data testing of new features and data pipelines.
• Coordinate UAT activities and obtain business signoffs.
• Investigate defects and data inconsistencies, working closely with dev teams for resolution.
• Help shape and enforce automated testing practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Be a proxy to business users in testing the application

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 4-12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Software Quality Assurance Analyst, preferably in insurance/reinsurance or financial services.
• Working knowledge of

  SQL

  , data validation, and working with structured datasets (e.g., actuarial or treaty data).
• Familiarity with tools such as

  JIRA, Azure DevOps, Postman

  , or automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) is a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding in requirements gathering, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Experience with reinsurance or insurance operations is highly desirable.
