Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team focused on the Retirement & Benefits domain. The ideal candidate will be a key bridge between business stakeholders and the technology team, responsible for the functional configuration, testing, and enhancement of our Defined Benefits systems. If you have a strong foundation in Defined Benefits administration and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex business problems, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, understand, and document business requirements and functional specifications for Defined Benefits pension plans.
Translate complex business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for system development.
Conduct detailed gap analysis and impact analysis of the product versus business requirements.
Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and execute manual testing (System Integration Testing, Regression Testing) to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product.
Provide functional support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with users to ensure business objectives are met.
Perform data analysis and validation using SQL queries to support decision-making and troubleshoot issues.
Work closely with developers and end-users to ensure technical and functional compatibility.
Prepare release notes, process documentation, and provide knowledge transfer to team members.
Coordinate production moves and ensure the stability of product components.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

4-10 years
of strong, hands-on experience in the
Defined Benefits (DB) domain
(Pension Administration, Lump-Sum, Retirement Plans).
Strong proficiency in
SQL
for data querying, validation, and analysis.
Proven experience in
Manual Testing
creating test plans, test cases, and executing functional, regression, and system testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.

Highly Preferred:

Hands-on experience with
RKS/BA7
platform.
Understanding of
SDLC/Agile methodologies
.
Experience in business analysis activities: requirements gathering, creating BRD/FRD, and stakeholder management.

Good to Have:

Experience with other Benefits Administration platforms (e.g., Upoint, TBA, HRO Workbench).
Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
