Technical Architect - Java

In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and development of scalable and highly available enterprise applications. You will work closely with teams to gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and lead the technical evaluation and prototyping of new solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with leads and product owners from the customer side, provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, and ensure the quality, performance, robustness, and scalability of the services/features implemented by the team. Key Responsibilities: - Gather functional requirements and develop technical specifications in collaboration with teams - Conduct technical evaluation and hands-on prototyping of new solutions - Architect, design, and build scalable and highly available enterprise applications based on Microservices architecture - Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify/mitigate risks on projects - Support the full life cycle of product development - Create, enhance, implement, and maintain high-performance, resilient, and scalable services - Help build the engineering culture within the teams - Provide guidance to business teams, mentor junior engineers, and apply technical expertise to solve challenging programming and design problems - Collaborate with developers, automation engineers, and support teams to improve productivity by automating processes - Work with Ops team to set up the build pipeline and automate deployment on public/private cloud environments Key Skills & Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed applications - Strong experience in building multi-tenant SaaS applications - Proficiency in Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns - Experience working with US clients - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail - Expertise in Java, Spring MVC, and REST APIs - Additional experience with C++ is preferred - Familiarity with Linux - Strong experience with top-tier RDBMS and database libraries - Preferred experience with server technologies like Apache Server, Apache Tomcat, and NGINX - Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes is a plus - B.
