Profile Brief: We are seeking a seasoned Architect  with deep expertise in cloud-based data platforms to spearhead a high-impact project for a wealth management client. This role involves leading the setup of a Snowflake environment, creating and managing ingestion pipelines, data modeling, and orchestrating a AWS based Data Architecture. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical acumen, and a proven track record in delivering data engineering solutions, particularly in the financial services sector.

Education: Bachelors/Masters (Engineering)/MBA

Experience: 10+ years of experience in Data Technology/Cloud computing in a Client Management/ Consulting/Tech Delivery role, with a focus on data platforms and financial services.

 Problem Solving:

Strong problem-solving skills, capable of translating business needs into comprehensive data platform solutions.

Ability to analyze complex financial data and metrics, influencing business and technical stakeholders.

Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving, with experience in financial data modeling.

 Data Engineering/Big Technical Prowess:

Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly A.

Proven expertise in setting up and managing Snowflake environments, including Snowpipe and HVR for data ingestion.

Strong data modeling skills, with the ability to create topical models representing entity structures in financial contexts.

In-depth understanding of Data Vault Architecture and its application in data sourcing to consumption.

Proficient in AWS services for data engineering, including S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Kinesis, and Glue.

Strong command over ETL processes and data pipeline design, particularly in a cloud environment.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, pyspark, and SQL.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline.

Team Management

Proven ability to manage and nurture high-performance teams.

Lead initiatives within the team and department, enabling teammates to achieve career milestones.

Manage and mentor direct reports via 1:1s and other means.

Provide coaching to direct reports on their career development plans.

Review and manage direct reports’ performance and conduct annual performance reviews.

Provide leadership in difficult situations, facilitate contentious discussions, and report up when necessary.

Strong technical background deploying solutions on AWS,

Designing analytics-driven applications: Highly-Available, Fault-tolerant, real-time.

Proven large-scale project execution in Agile SDLC.
