Technical Architect

As a Technical Architect based in Bangalore, you will leverage your expertise in .Net technologies to lead the technical architecture and design of web-based applications. With a background in Microsoft technologies like ASP.Net, C#, and SQL Server, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of projects. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in an Architect role, you will be well-versed in release management processes and have hands-on experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar source control tools. Your proficiency in the Facade Design Pattern will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility and project success. Your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommending innovative solutions. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and methodologies, while also demonstrating strong problem analysis and troubleshooting abilities. Preferred qualifications for this role include a bachelors or masters degree in technology, a good understanding of Database concepts/SQL, Web services/XML, Remoting, and experience with RDBMS, preferably SQL Server. Additionally, knowledge of OOAD, UML, design patterns, and familiarity with source control tools such as Visual Source Safe, CVS, etc. will be advantageous. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies. A background in Build & Configuration Management, ASP, VB 6.0, Crystal Reports, ERP, or Microsoft certifications will be considered a plus in this role.
