Technical Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain software applications required across various teams.
• Provide day-to-day IT support to internal users, ensuring quick resolution of issues related to software, access, and desktop systems.
• Maintain proper documentation of installations, system updates, and configuration changes.
• Ensure timely setup of new employees, including software installation, account creation, and system access.
• Perform basic system monitoring to ensure all devices and tools used by teams are functioning efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to understand issues, provide updates, and deliver resolutions in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs and ensure smooth IT workflows.
• Handle software license management and ensure compliance across the organization.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and oversee the routine upkeep of devices.
• Coordinate with vendors when required for escalations or installation assistance.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity issues).
• Support leadership and operations teams during onboarding of new tools by ensuring proper installation and access provisioning.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 to 4 years of experience in IT support or System Administration.
• Strong communication skills ability to explain technical solutions in simple, clear language.
• Good hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software on Windows and/or macOS machines.
• Basic understanding of system security, user access controls, and device management.
• A customer-centric, problem-solving mindset with strong ownership.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple requests efficiently.
• Previous experience working with distributed teams is a plus.
• Willingness to work in Night Shifts.
