Tech Support Analyst

As a Tech Support Analyst at UBS, your role will involve: - Providing hands-on Level 2 production support for the Wealth Management Americas Advisory suite of applications - Governing production support execution aligned with the existing ITIL framework - Following effective operational policies, processes, and procedures - Communicating effectively with stakeholders - Involving in automations, code debugging, incident resolution, and service request resolution - Participating in SRE and Automation initiatives, as well as organization and project strategic initiatives - Defining workarounds for known errors and initiating process improvements You will be working with the WMA Advisory development and support teams based in the USA and India. The Hosting Services team aims to provide quality services ensuring production stability and availability while aligning with business needs and fostering customer/user satisfaction. To excel in this role, you should ideally have: - 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience with Unix, Oracle, Sybase, Autosys, Java, Informatica, and cloud/Azure related technologies - Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Azure, AppInsight, and AppDynamics - Strong skills in code debugging, quick incident responses, and expertise in Java, Unix, and Oracle - Flexibility to work in rotation and provide weekend support - Ability to analyze detailed code for business requests and interact effectively with multiple teams - Strong problem-solving skills, influence with senior IT stakeholders and business partners, and the ability to explain technology to non-technical audiences - Understanding of trading related applications and architecture - Track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners - Confident communication skills and ability to translate client needs into products and services UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
