Job Description

As a Tech Senior Manager at Google Operations Center, you will lead a team of technical support and engineering professionals working across various product areas such as Cloud, Workspace, Salesforce, Data Engineering, and analytics. The engineering teams will focus on full-stack development, while the technical support professionals will provide high-end technical support to Google customers globally. **Position Responsibilities:** - Build a deep understanding of the technology stack and Google's business. - Establish baselines and deviations clearly, maintaining response and resolution speed as per SLOs. - Manage, monitor, and track day-to-day activities across teams, informing stakeholders of potential risks and escalating events if necessary. - Assess the feasibility of proposed problem resolutions, review and approve workarounds and resolutions. - Understand complex business problems and develop actionable strategies to solve them. - Ensure high customer satisfaction scores and team quality standards. - Provide assistance to highest-tier customers, act as an advocate for pressing customer issues with Google engineers and Program Managers. - Lead a team of GOCers as their People Manager, guide the team to achieve desired results, drive performance, convey goals, provide coaching, and feedback. - Drive various people practices, work on employee retention, and build an engaged workforce. - Mentor individuals and build succession plans at all levels. **Minimum Qualifications:** - 15+ years of experience leading hybrid technology teams, with at least 8 years of people management experience. - 10+ years of hands-on experience in technologies like Cloud, Workspace, CRM systems, or data engineering and analytics. - Strong experience in leading large-scale business transformations. - Professional level cloud certification (GCP, AWS, or Azure). - Excellent stakeholder management skills and business acumen. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. - Google Cloud Platform or any other cloud certification. - Experience in leading a team of 200+ professionals.
