TECH OPS TEAM LEAD – DATA OPERATIONS, REPORTING & FIELD ALERTS (PHARMA)

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end Tech Ops activities across data processing, reporting, and field alert workflows.
• Manage job runs, data validations, issue triage, and daily delivery SLAs.
• Monitor Databricks pipelines, Power BI refreshes, and alert delivery processes.
• Identify recurring issues and drive automation and process improvements.

2. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and operations specialists.
• Assign tasks, review progress, and ensure quality delivery within SLAs.
• Conduct daily stand-ups, operational syncs, and cross-functional coordination.

3. Reporting Operations (Power BI)

• Supervise daily dataset refreshes, validations, and report publishing.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely availability for business users.
• Coordinate with analytics and business teams for issue resolution and enhancements.

4. Data Operations (Databricks)

• Manage Databricks job monitoring, pipeline execution, and failure analysis.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and collaborate with engineering for root-cause fixes.
• Maintain logs, documentation, and audit-ready operational reports.

5. Field Alerts Operations

• Oversee daily logic runs and delivery of rule-based and ML-based alerts.
• Validate alert outputs and ensure on-time delivery to CRM and downstream systems.
• Collaborate with analytics/data science teams on tuning, validation, and performance monitoring.

6. Collaboration & Escalation

• Act as the primary contact for daily operational queries and escalations.
• Provide timely updates, impact assessments, and escalation management.
• Support operational dashboards, metrics, and performance reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

• 610 years

  total experience with

  2+ years in team leadership or Tech Ops coordination

  .
• Pharma/Life Sciences experience preferred (commercial or field ops a plus).
• Strong hands-on expertise in:

• Databricks

  (job monitoring, troubleshooting)

• Power BI

  (refresh, validation, publishing)

• SQL

  for data validation and issue triage
• Experience managing SLA-driven operations in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with offshore/onshore teams.

Good-to-Have

• Automation experience (scripts, schedulers, triggers).
• Knowledge of HCP/HCO mastering, territory/product data.
• Familiarity with CRM-integrated alerting systems (Veeva, Salesforce, etc.).
