Job Description

An SAP EPPM job description involves designing, implementing, and supporting SAPs Enterprise and Portfolio Management (EPPM) solutions, focusing on modules like Project System (PS) and Portfolio Management (PPM) in S/4HANA or ECC environments
Key responsibilities include gathering business requirements, configuring the system, managing projects, and integrating with finance (FICO) and materials management (MM) modules
The role also requires leading workshops, providing user support, collaborating with cross functional teams, and staying updated on SAP innovations and best practices
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Lifecycle Management:Lead and manage SAP ePPM/PS implementation and optimization projects from inception to completion
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:Conduct business workshops, understand client requirements, and translate them into effective SAP solutions
System Design & Configuration:Design, configure, and customize SAP ePPM/PS modules to meet business needs
Cross Functional Integration:Collaborate with Finance (FICO), Procurement (MM), and other teams to ensure seamless integration and data exchange
Testing & Support:Perform test planning (SIT, UAT), manage defects, and provide post go live support
Documentation:Create and review blueprint documents, functional specifications, and configuration documents
Mentoring & Best Practices:Mentor junior consultants and ensure the delivery quality aligns with SAP best practices
Innovation:Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations, including S/4HANA and Fiori apps, and recommend solutions for business growth
Required Skills & ExperienceSAP Modules: Strong experience with SAP EPPM, specifically PS and PPM modules
S/4HANA: Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its project and portfolio management capabilities is often required
Integration: Proficiency in integrating with other SAP modules like FICO, MM, and SD
Industry Processes: Good understanding of industry specific business processes (e
g

Tools & Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile implementation methodologies (like Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)) is a plus
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem solving, and analytical skills
