Role Overview: As a Tech Lead in Database Analysis at Fiserv, you will be responsible for maintaining a high available Database infrastructure crucial for the business. Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams to deliver database solutions aligned with business goals and client needs. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and implement all types of backups and restore operations - Administer high availability solutions like mirroring, replication, and always on - Manage space and transactional log files - Install and configure Database servers - Set up security policies, create logins, and roles - Resolve incidents, determine Root Cause for higher priority incidents - Coordinate patching, code deployments, work support troubleshooting tickets, run SQL queries - Implement and monitor IT service management processes for high availability and reliability - Utilize DynaTrace and Splunk for performance monitoring and troubleshooting - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve IT issues - Develop and maintain documentation for IT services and processes - Develop reusable assets and create a knowledge repository - Be a team player with the ability to collaborate on idea sharing in a strong product setting - Adhere to Agile Sprints, Delivery Framework, and SDLC best practices Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in RDS database administration (Oracle or PostgreSQL or SQL server) - 4+ years of experience in DB administration, write efficient queries, read and understand query plans, and write stored procedures and functions - 5-6 years of hands-on experience in data replication tools - Experience in failover, backups, monitoring, and parameter groups - Hands-on experience in High availability, Cluster management, Failover - Superior problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities - Flexible and self-driven with a collaborative approach to problem-solving Additional Company Details: Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
