As a Tech Lead, Database Analysis at Fiserv, you will be responsible for maintaining a high available Database infrastructure crucial for the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver database solutions aligned with business goals and client needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Planning and implementing backups and restore operations - Administrating high availability solutions like mirroring, replication, and always-on - Managing space and transactional log files - Installing and configuring Database servers - Setting up security policies, logins, and roles - Resolving incidents and determining Root Cause for higher priority incidents - Coordinating patching, code deployments, troubleshooting tickets, and running SQL queries - Implementing and monitoring IT service management processes for high availability and reliability - Utilizing DynaTrace and Splunk for performance monitoring and troubleshooting - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve IT issues - Developing and maintaining documentation for IT services and processes - Creating reusable assets and knowledge repository - Being a team player with the ability to share ideas in a strong product setting - Adhering to Agile Sprints, Delivery Framework, and SDLC best practices **Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of hands-on experience in RDS database administration (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) - 4+ years of experience in DB administration, writing efficient queries, understanding query plans, and writing stored procedures and functions - 5-6 years of experience in data replication tools - Experience in failover, backups, monitoring, and parameter groups - Hands-on experience in High availability, Cluster management, and Failover - Strong problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities - Flexibility, self-driven, and collaborative approach to problem-solving In addition to the above qualifications, it would be great to have a focus on shipping software that solves real problems, professionalism in code design, continuous learning mindset, experience in large-scale real-time applications, ability to amplify team efforts, foresee technology trends, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
