Tech Lead- Backend (Elastic search | python | spring boot)

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tech Lead with a strong background in backend development and data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in the industry and possess expertise in Elastic Search, Java Spring Boot for Backend API development, Python for data pipeline creation, and familiarity with Amazon Aurora and Apache HBase.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs usingJavaSpring Boot.

Design, develop, and manage data pipelines using Python.

Implement and maintain high-performance search solutions using ElasticSearch.

Oversee the management and optimization of databases, specifically Amazon Aurora and Apache HBase. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the successful delivery of software projects.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.

Ensure code quality, best practices, and standards are maintained across all projects.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure robust and efficient software solutions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our tech stack remains current and competitive.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 5 to 7 years in software development, with significant experience in a technical leadership role. Backend Development: Proficient in developing Backend APIs using Java Spring Boot. Data Pipelines: Strong experience in designing and managing data pipelines using Python. Elastic Search: Expertise in implementing and maintaining search solutions with Elastic Search. Database Management: Hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora and Apache HBase. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of developers. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
