Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for building the required manufacturing footprint and production capacity based on future demand, developing adequate manufacturing strategy, and facilitating continuous and sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze Strat-Plan to build capacity roadmap based on business forecast and strategic growth drivers, including capacity and demand deflection analysis in the last 1-2 years. - Make capacity corrections based on capacity adherence report and actual delivery, and identify and address constraints hampering serviceability through bottleneck identification. - Conduct QA/QC related capacity assessment and initiate necessary actions/approvals, considering the impact of product mix during capacity calculations. - Identify and implement comprehensive debottlenecking solutions to optimize the network for planning capacity, such as Manning addition, Capex addition, or Product transfers. - Obtain necessary Capex/additional manning approvals by providing detailed justifications to finance/management, and lead end-to-end Tech transfers for critical products" serviceability. - Drive serviceability and resolve capacity-related queries to ensure smooth operations, and ensure strategic alignment with cross-functional teams through regular updates on demand scenarios. - Allocate IPD/AVD slots without affecting regular order supply, allocate capacity for new business opportunities other than the Strat plan, and evaluate material constraints for capacity building in terms of product serviceability. - Achieve process sustenance as per Cipla's standards and expectations, prepare and analyze monthly Capacity adherence report to understand theoretical and actual capacity gaps, and track capacity enhancement projects for export sites. - Contribute towards digital improvement by completing resource-wise utilization projects and standardizing critical reports within the team, and develop power BI dashboards for quicker analysis. Qualification Required: - Graduate with sound knowledge of Operations and good exposure to MS Office, plus an MBA. - Relevant work experience of 3-6 years with strong analytical abilities, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, negotiation skills, and clarity of thought process (manufacturing background preferred).,
