Job Description

Design Engineering:

Actively participate in the mechanical design of static and rotating equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, etc.) as per ASME, API, and project-specific standards.
Develop and review detailed design deliverables including P&IDs, equipment layouts, datasheets, and material specifications.
Ensure designs are optimized for safety, operability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Participate in design reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOP, HAZID) and provide technical support during detailed engineering.
Interface with process, piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams for integrated plant design.

Procurement Support:

Prepare technical requisitions, equipment specifications, and vendor documents for long lead items and critical mechanical systems.
Perform technical bid evaluations (TBE) and support vendor selection in coordination with the procurement team.
Review vendor drawings and documents for technical compliance and ensure timely approvals.
Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), pre-inspections, and vendor meetings.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate closely with project management, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration from design through execution.
Provide site support during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and resolve interface issues across disciplines.
Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
