Job Description

Design & Engineering:

Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including the Instrument Index, I/O Lists, Cable Schedules, Loop Diagrams, Hook-up Drawings, and JB layouts.
Develop specifications and datasheets for field instruments (flow, pressure, level, and temperature), control valves, and analyzers.
Design and review DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA, and F&G systems architecture.
Perform sizing and selection of instruments in accordance with process data and industry standards.
Ensure design compliance with client specifications, international codes, and project requirements.

Procurement & Vendor Coordination:

Prepare technical requisitions for instrumentation equipment and packages.
Conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE) and vendor offer assessments.
Review vendor documents and ensure alignment with project specifications.
Attend vendor meetings, FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), and support inspections.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of instruments.

Project Execution & Coordination:

Collaborate with process, electrical, mechanical, and civil teams for integrated design.
Support construction and commissioning teams during installation and startup phases.
Participate in HAZOP, SIL studies, and control system architecture reviews.
Provide resolution of site technical queries and manage engineering change requests.
