Description
As a Project Manager in the Medical Communications team at Novartis, your role will involve the end-to-end delivery of med comms projects to ensure high quality and timely execution of deliverables. You will be based in Hyderabad with a hybrid work model. **Major Accountabilities:** - Manage the med comms project delivery for a given brand(s) by ensuring the agreed scope of work is delivered on time, with quality, and within budget through close collaboration with colleagues. - Directly manage key activities, oversee quality control, resolve issues, manage workflow processes, and engage colleagues. Lead, coach, and manage associates in the team while championing people engagement and culture development. - Prioritize projects, track milestones, allocate resources based on project requirements, monitor workload distribution, and plan resource assignments. Implement management control systems to ensure quality deliverables and process compliance. - Communicate regularly with stakeholders, provide updates, gather feedback, address issues, and share best practices to meet business needs. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and efficiency. Support innovation and operational excellence through continuous development programs. - Be accountable for deliverables by ensuring compliance, adherence to processes, customer experience, quality, and collaborations with other groups. - Monitor and report established KPIs, take proactive action for continuous improvement, recruit talent, manage performance, and develop associates. Set direction, align team members, and motivate them to achieve set goals and objectives. - Ensure compliance, inspection/audit readiness, and adequate training for all team associates in industry best practices and internal guidelines/SOPs. **Minimum Requirements:** - M.Sc./ M.Pharm in scientific disciplines, ideally with a Doctoral Degree or Qualification in Medical Sciences (MBBS/MD/equivalent), MBA. - 3-6 years of experience in the Medical Communications business in the Pharma Industry or Medical Communications agencies. - 2-4 years of experience in team management/leadership roles. - Good understanding of work processes for medical communications.
