Team Leader - IT (COT)

Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities

• Management and further development of a local IT team in Pune
• Coordination and close cooperation with the IT head office in Germany
• Ensuring the implementation of global IT strategies and standards with a focus on European mindset and quality standards
• Responsibility for local IT projects and support for international rollouts
• Communicating with stakeholders in Europe and India to harmonise technical requirements and processes
• Regular performance review of the team with stakeholders in Europe
• Promotion of a team-orientated, transparent and solution-oriented way of working
• Responsibility for resource, cost and budget planning
  

Contributing your Strengths: Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or comparable qualification
  

Experience

• More than 10 years of experience in relevant skills sets and more than 5 years of experience in managing IT teams, ideally in an international environment
  

• Strong understanding of the European way of working and thinking
• Familiarity with European IT standards, processes and quality requirements
• Experience in working with German companies or international IT centres
• Knowledge of business applications (incl. ERP), digital workplace technologies and IT infrastructure
• Project management skills
• Strong communication skills, intercultural competence and hands-on mentality
• Very good written and spoken English skills, good German skills preferable
