Team Leader IAD Credit Retail

You will be responsible for conducting independent review/audits of the Wholesale Banking portfolio to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of Credit Processes, risk management, and loan documentation. This will involve participating in audits of various businesses, processes, and operations related to Wholesale Banking. A key aspect of this role will be developing an in-depth understanding of Credit Risk management, Regulatory requirements, and internal policies to focus on mitigating risks effectively. Your duties will also include drafting and issuing findings and engaging in discussions with Auditee for the closure of the same. You will assist in planning, designing, and implementing risk-based audit plans to ensure the safety and soundness of the Bank. It will be essential to complete assigned audits on time and properly document work papers. Tracking the status of reported issues and ensuring the closure of open audit points will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. In addition, you will be involved in benchmarking relevant processes against Best Practices and peer banks. Keeping the Audit Procedure Manual and checklists current and updated will also fall under your purview. Providing improvement suggestions to existing processes/systems to line management and overseeing the Concurrent Audit process will be part of your role. This will involve ensuring the timely submission of concurrent audit reports, updating concurrent audit checklists regularly, reviewing concurrent audit issues appropriately, and following up on the rectification of concurrent audit issues.,
