Description
As a Team Leader in Software Development, your role involves planning and executing daily standup calls with your team on a regular basis. You will be responsible for following code standards and reviewing the code of your team. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will need to have a solid understanding of the project requirements. Additionally, you are expected to be accountable for the applications developed by the Dev teams, providing support and assistance when needed. Comfortable delegation to appropriate resources is a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting daily standup calls with the team - Ensuring code standard compliance and code reviews - Collaborating with the Project Manager to understand project requirements - Being accountable for team-developed applications and providing support - Delegating tasks effectively - Conducting performance evaluations of team members - Leading a team working on significant projects - Tracking team velocity and providing metrics for management - Analyzing technical risks and making recommendations - Communicating changes to internal and external users - Delivering projects on time with high quality Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Team Leader in Software Development - Expertise in ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, design/architectural patterns, MVC, Web API 2.0, LINQ, Entity Framework - Experience with Forex applications/domain preferred - Agile environment experience - Understanding of SOA development - Ability to write quality unit tests - Knowledge of AGILE software development methodology - Familiarity with automated processes for building, testing, documenting, and deploying applications at scale - Web and backend design and development experience - UI frameworks and libraries knowledge like jQuery In addition to the technical responsibilities, you are expected to take an active role in the hiring process of new developers and may demonstrate industry leadership in technology, consortium, or standards. It is important to follow legal policies as directed and perform any other duties as required and assigned by the manager and upper management.
