As aTechnical Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning,execution, and delivery of software projects with a strong technicalbackground. In addition to aligning projects with business objectives andcommunicating with stakeholders, you are expected to take a hands-on approachin evaluating technical feasibility, architecture, integration, and developmentoversight.
- Scoping, requirement gathering, and deep-diving into technical and functional solutions to address business requirements.
- Work closely with solution architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Review and evaluate system architecture, database design, API contracts, and deployment readiness.
- Break down high-level business needs into detailed technical tasks and ensure they are properly implemented.
- Lead sprint planning and technical estimations with developers; ensure velocity tracking and sprint commitments are realistic.
- Assign and oversee daily technical tasks and ensure all team members are actively progressing toward technical milestones.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure technical best practices, and guide junior engineers where required.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet defined quality standards.
- Manage project dependencies across frontend, backend, integration services, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with QA to ensure robust test planning and automation coverage.
- Drive DevOps alignment for CI/CD pipelines and deployment timelines.
- Facilitate regular technical team stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track and report project status using tools like Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks from a technical perspective.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, code quality, and performance metrics.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and deployment plans.
Requirements - Bacheloror masterdegree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience managing software/IT projects with strong technical involvement (SDLC, Agile/Scrum).
- Prior experience as a software developer, technical lead, or solution architect is preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.) and documentation tools (Confluence, Notion, etc.).
- Hands-on understanding of modern tech stacks like.NET, Node.js, Angular/React, SQL/NoSQL, REST APIs, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment practices (CI/CD, GitOps, containerization).
- Familiarity with testing automation frameworks and DevOps principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills with a proactive mindset.
- Professional Project Management Certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM) is an advantage.
