Team Leader - Account Receivables

As a Team Leader at AVASO, your role involves leading and managing the Accounts Receivables team to achieve departmental goals. You will be responsible for assigning, monitoring, and delegating work effectively, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and motivate the AR team to achieve departmental goals. - Assign, monitor, and delegate work effectively. - Provide regular feedback, coaching, and training. - Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. - Oversee the entire AR cycle including invoicing, collections, and overdue accounts. - Ensure timely and accurate billing. - Implement effective collection strategies. - Maintain accurate records and documentation. - Prepare and analyze AR reports such as aging, cash flow, and forecasts. - Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely closure. - Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement. - Provide accurate and timely financial information to management. - Continuously identify and implement process improvements. - Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Develop and implement best practices. - Stay updated on industry trends and regulations. - Build and maintain strong customer relationships. - Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly. - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and taxes. - Identify and mitigate risks associated with AR activities. - Effectively utilize AR systems such as SAP, ZOHO, Xero to improve efficiency. - Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing and reconciliations. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. - Experience with Accounting Software (XERO, Zoho, SAP). - Clear accounting skills and concepts. - Effective Communication & Team management. - Accuracy and Precision. - Experience in Accounts receivable role. - Experienced in the IT industry. - Ability for Decision Making and Quick Issue Resolution.
