Job Description

Analyze and design projects for telecommunication towers including the preparation of reports with results and recommendations.
Analyze and design projects for telecommunication rooftop installations and analysis of imposed loading to building structures.
Perform structural calculations and propose methods of reinforcing if necessary.
Assist the project manager with the completion of the analysis and correction of drawings.
Prepare specifications and other technical documentation.
Prepare budgetary estimates to assist project manager.
Coordinate work with technicians and inspectors working on the project.
Perform other related duties as project implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in structures, a masters degree would be an asset.
Excellent knowledge of the S37 and S16 standard. Other standards such as A23.3 is an asset
1-3 years of relevant experience in structural design in telecommunications and other structures. (building and / or other types of structures)
Experience in rooftop structures considered an asset.
Sense of initiative, attention to detail.
Ability to work as a team.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Bilingualism an asset.
