Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 15+ years of experience in architectural design, project management, and team leadership.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex architectural projects.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent client management and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Lead multiple architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring design quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects comply with building codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Drive the implementation of design standards and ensure consistency across projects.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action to address delays or quality issues.
2. Design Oversight & Qualit
y Control - Review and approve design concepts, working drawings, and construction documents.
- Ensure design integrity, detailing accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide design direction, feedback, and technical expertise to the project team.
- Conduct regular design reviews and ensure alignment with client expectations.
3. Team Management & M
entorship - Lead and manage a team of Project Architects, Senior Architects, and Junior Architects.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor team performance.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and support to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
4. Client & Stakeholder Coo
rdination - Organize and lead meetings with clients, government authorities, vendors, and internal teams to discuss project updates and address concerns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
- Manage client expectations regarding design, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with external consultants (MEP, structural, etc.) to ensure seamless coordination.
5. Project Documentation &
Reporting - Oversee the preparation and accuracy of designs and documentation, including drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure proper documentation of design changes, decisions, and client feedback.
- Prepare and present project status reports to Project Heads or Directors.
6. Project Scheduling & Coordination
- Define and manage project timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal goals.
- Establish clear deadlines for each project phase (concept, design development, documentation, and delivery).
- Reallocate resources or adjust timelines as needed to meet project objectives.
- Regularly update Project Heads and Directors on deliverable status and schedule adherence.
7. Risk M
anagement - Assess project plans to foresee possible challenges or obstacles.
- Create contingency plans to address identified risks and minimize their impact.
- Continuously evaluate risk factors and adjust strategies as necessary to keep the project on track.
8. Documentation and
Reporting - Keep comprehensive documentation of project plans, communications, changes, and decisions.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project status, highlighting achievements and addressing concerns.
- Ensure all project documents are organized and stored for future reference and compliance purposes.
