Team Lead : Pod Shell&Radomes.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to spearhead our Pod Shell and Radome design activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background with extensive experience in designing and analyzing pod and radome structures. You will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring technical excellence, and coordinating cross-functional activities to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of pod shells and radomes, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Oversee stress and vibration analysis for structural integrity and durability.
• Coordinate effectively with structural, antenna, and other related teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
• Mentor and guide team members to achieve project milestones and maintain high-quality standards.
• Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and analysis reports.
• Identify potential design challenges early and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• M.Tech/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in pod shell and radome design.
• Strong knowledge of stress analysis, vibration analysis, and structural design.
• Experience with CAD software and simulation tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in defense or aerospace projects.
• Familiarity with military-grade electronic systems and testing standards.
• Project management skills and exposure to Agile or similar methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools such as CATIA, ANSYS, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of materials selection and manufacturing processes related to radomes and pod shells.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Prior experience leading cross-functional teams in a high-technology environment.
