Role Overview: As an ORM Control Testing Lead at Ameriprise India LLP, your primary responsibility is to lead the execution of ORM Control testing plans for multiple Business Units. This involves overseeing the workload and operations of a team, as well as reviewing and approving control test results. You will need to assess control deficiencies, provide enhancement recommendations, and assist with issuing, reporting, and following up on Control Action Plans. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the more complicated sections of ORM Controls testing plans by BU within specified timelines. - Conduct quality reviews of control deficiencies within the team. - Provide coaching and tactical training to team members. - Review closure plans post-completion of actions and addressing identified deficiencies. - Contribute to risk assessments in alignment with department standards. - Prepare and review data summary analysis reports and presentations for team and leadership review. - Handle ad-hoc requests related to Operational Risk Management and other program standards. - Utilize Audit and Risk Analytics skills along with business acumen. - Have experience in financial services (banking, capital markets, insurance) and operational risk or large-scale operations discipline. - Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Qualifications Required: - Experience in financial services industry, preferably banking, capital markets, or insurance. - Proficiency in operational risk management or working in a large-scale operations discipline. - Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
