Team Lead - Franchise & Central Operations

Location: Onsite, ETV Campus, Bangalore

Role Overview:

As the Team Lead for Franchise & Central Operations, you will serve as the analytical backbone for Flipkart's Dark Store and Last-Mile operations. This role leverages advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and financial data insights to optimize 3PL/Franchisee performance, drive cost efficiencies across the network P&L, and execute data-backed network expansion strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Analytics & Partner Performance Management

• 3PL/Franchisee Performance Engine: Build data pipelines, telemetry dashboards, and tracking models to evaluate 3PL and Franchisee partners across Dark Store and Last-Mile operations.
• SLAs & Compliance Modeling: Establish quantitative Vendor Management frameworks to monitor real-time SLA adherence, error rates, and tech adoption, using automated reporting to trigger corrective action workflows.
• Data-Driven Partner Engagement: Apply quantitative insights and KAM principles to structure strategic discussions, incentive structures, and efficiency roadmaps with key 3PL and Franchisee partners.

2. Data-Led Network Expansion & Infrastructure Setup

• Predictive Site Finalization: Partner with Real Estate analytics to evaluate site suitability using spatial analysis, demographic density modeling, order-volume forecasts, and financial yield metrics.
• Project Tracking & SLA Execution: Utilize data-driven project management tools to track end-to-end infra setup, milestone completion rates, CAPEX variance, and go-live readiness for new Dark Stores.

3. Financial Analytics, Budgeting & P&L Optimization

• CAPEX & OPEX Modeling: Formulate data-driven CAPEX models for network expansion and predictive OPEX budgets for Dark Store and Last-Mile logistics.
• P&L Data Ownership: Deep-dive into regional P&L line items, conducting cost-per-order (CPO) variance analysis, unit-economic modeling, and profitability sensitivity analysis to identify cost-leakage and revenue-accretive opportunities.

4. Core Metric Ownership & Deep-Dive Analytics

• Operational KPI Ownership: Own primary quantitative metrics including CPH(Calls/Orders per Hour), OOTD (Out-on-Time Delivery), Fulfillment Rate, Order Accuracy, Cost Per Order (CPO), and NPS/Partner CSAT.
• Root-Cause & Capacity Forecasting: Perform cohort analysis, bottleneck diagnostics, and dynamic capacity/demand forecasting using statistical tools to optimize workforce and inventory planning.

5. Quantitative Leadership & Team Management

• Metrics-Driven Leadership: Instill a strong data-first culture within internal operations teams and partner staff, setting quantitative KPIs, performance benchmarks, and objective performance evaluations.
