Team Lead- Financial Reporting

Role Overview: You will be working as part of a team responsible for providing financial statements for a variety of alternative investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and closed-end registered products. Your role will involve analyzing operational structure and yearly activities of funds with different investment strategies and products. You will be maintaining financial reporting workbooks throughout the year to meet U.S. Bank standards and utilizing advanced Excel skills for automated financial reporting solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate data sets for annual audits, oversee compliance with accounting principles, and prepare and review regulatory reports. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements for alternative investment funds - Analyze operational structure and activities of funds with different investment strategies - Maintain financial reporting workbooks and automated solutions using advanced Excel skills - Coordinate data sets for annual audits and regulatory reporting - Oversee compliance and review financial statements prepared by associates - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports - Participate in ad-hoc financial reporting projects as required Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience - Five or more years of experience in the alternative investments industry with advanced knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting - Ideal candidate would have experience in Big 4 or other large accounting firms - Inquisitive mind to research relevant accounting topics - CPA or CA certification preferred (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
