Job Overview:

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support & Project Management:

• Manage AMS ticketing, deployment processes, and change management.
• Provide end-to-end production support for Oracle Cloud Planning modules.
• Independently handle project tasks, ensuring timely delivery within budget and client satisfaction.

• Oracle Cloud Planning (EPM) Development:

• Gather requirements, design, develop, document, and support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting solutions using Oracle Cloud Planning (EPBCS).
• Implement Oracle Cloud Planning modules: Financials, Workforce, Capital, Projects, and Strategic Modeling.
• Develop reports using Oracle Financials Reporting and Narrative Reporting.
• Build and support integrations from GL and Close applications to Oracle Cloud Planning.

• Technical Documentation & Client Interaction:

• Prepare technical and functional documentation for Oracle Cloud Planning (requirements, design, testing, end-user guides).
• Participate in client meetings, capturing key requirements and transforming them into actionable designs.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and quality.

• Team Leadership & Coaching:

• Provide coaching and training to junior staff.
• Lead projects, manage risk logs, status reporting, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Support team development, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

• Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvements and automation within EPM applications.
• Apply best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across projects.

Essential Skills:

• Technical Expertise:

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle EPM (Hyperion) applications, including EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services).
• Hands-on experience in implementing Oracle Cloud Planning modules (Financials, Workforce, Capital, Projects, Strategic Modeling).
• Strong knowledge of data integrations, automation, and EPM Cloud application support.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud technologies, with Oracle Cloud certification preferred.
• Strong skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM applications like FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service) and ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) is a plus.
• MBA in Finance or a strong finance domain background.
• Leadership capabilities with a focus on team motivation and performance.
• Oracle Cloud Certifications in Cloud EPM workstreams are highly desirable.
