Team Lead - DevOps

As a Team Lead DevOps at Simform, a premier digital engineering company specializing in Cloud, Data, AI/ML, and Experience Engineering, you will play a crucial role in the DevOps department. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and establishing best practices for deployment processes. You will be working on medium-sized multi-tier deployments across various cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP for web and mobile technologies. Your expertise in DevOps tools, cloud services, and container orchestration will be essential for driving efficient DevOps practices within the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, and Azure DevOps. Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning will also be a key part of your role. In addition, you will conduct research, prototyping, and development to explore and adopt emerging DevOps practices and technologies. Managing distributed, multi-tier cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability will be part of your daily tasks. Troubleshooting and resolving deployment issues across different environments and managing software releases will also be crucial aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and AWS CodePipeline is essential. Proficiency in scripting languages like Node.js and Python, as well as experience with version control systems and various build tools, will be beneficial. If you have a background in Microsoft Azure cloud services, experience in managing team operations, and relevant certifications in DevOps or Cloud Computing, it would be considered a plus.
