Team Lead DevOps

You are a seasoned DevOps Lead with over 8 years of hands-on experience in automating, deploying, and managing applications across diverse environments. Your expertise includes working with PHP, Python, and Node.js application deployments, AWS services, Linux system administration, and a solid understanding of DevOps tools and practices such as CI/CD, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform. Your primary responsibilities will involve leading and managing end-to-end DevOps practices, tools, and infrastructure. You will be tasked with automating deployment pipelines, managing CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and handling application deployments across various environments. Additionally, configuring and managing web servers (Apache, NGINX) and database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL) will be part of your daily tasks. You will also be responsible for administering and monitoring Linux-based systems for performance, security, and uptime, and implementing infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Docker. Furthermore, managing AWS infrastructure services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch is crucial. Collaborating with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC, performing cybersecurity and compliance-related configurations and reviews, troubleshooting and resolving issues in different environments, and guiding junior DevOps engineers are integral parts of your role. Your background should include at least 8 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud infrastructure roles, a strong foundation in deploying PHP, Python, and Node.js applications, deep knowledge of AWS cloud services and best practices, and experience in configuring and managing Linux servers, Apache, and NGINX. Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and version control (Git) is essential. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure hardening, along with excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, are also required. Preferred qualifications include AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer), experience with Kubernetes or ECS, and exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
