Teaching Position - Performing Arts Music (Indian Classical Vocal)

Overview:

Seeking an experienced individual for a faculty position in the Faculty of Performing Arts. Responsibilities include teaching courses, mentoring students, curriculum development, scholarly research, and departmental service.

Music ( Classical Vocal):

We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished vocalist with a deep understanding and mastery of classical vocal music. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong performance skills, pedagogical expertise, and a passion for training the next generation of performing artists.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teaching practical and theoretical courses in classical vocal music.
• Designing curriculum that reflects traditional vocal pedagogy and contemporary applications.
• Organizing student performances and participating in departmental events.
• Mentoring students and assisting in academic research or creative projects related to classical vocal music.

Qualifications:

• Must align with UGC standards (Master's degree in Performing Arts - Music).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a university setting.
• Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D., have submitted their Ph.D. thesis, are currently pursuing a Ph.D., or are NET qualified, in addition to possessing a Master's degree in the relevant field.
