Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Academic & Classroom Support

Assist teachers in preparing materials and learning engagements.
Support students during inquiry-based activities, projects, and small-group tasks.
Help in facilitating childrens displays of learning.
Provide one-on-one guidance to students as needed.
Step in as a
substitute in classrooms
when a teacher is absent, ensuring continuity of routines and activities.

Student Engagement

Foster a positive, inclusive, and child-centered classroom atmosphere.
Participate actively in read-alouds, music, art, and play-based learning.
Use creative talents (e.g.,
playing a musical instrument, artistic expression
) to enrich student experiences.
Encourage curiosity, participation, and independent learning among students.

Administrative & Coordination Tasks

Assist with writing on student work and progress.
Support in school events, assemblies, and cultural programs.
Assist with the parent newsletter.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree (completed or pursuing) in Education/Psychology/Child Development/related fields.

Recent graduates or final-year students are encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in working with children (teaching, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable.
Familiarity with IB or international schools will be an advantage.
