Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Teachers who are committed to creating nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. As a teacher at Kido, you will be responsible for implementing our educational framework, supporting children’s growth and well-being, and fostering strong relationships with families.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Plan and execute weekly lesson plans.

· Maintain a caring and supportive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.

· Supervise children’s indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.

· Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and an understanding of developmental milestones to make learning engaging and fun.

· Ensure materials and activities are prepared in advance for daily lessons.

· Observe and document children's development and milestones regularly.

· Facilitate activities with clear instructions that promote all areas of development.

· Provide emotional support to help new children settle into the class and ensure ongoing care and support.

· Promote and maintain health and hygiene practices in the classroom and encourage the same in children.

· Promptly report and document any incidents, accidents, or emergencies to parents and management.

· Maintain open and positive communication with parents, both verbally and non-verbally, regarding the child’s development and any concerns.

· Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) quarterly.

· Be adaptable to meet the changing needs of children, offering one-on-one support when necessary.

· Update the child’s daily care routine on the app after breakfast, lunch, and snack times, including diaper changes and classroom activities.

· Maintain all required administrative records including attendance, risk assessments, lesson plans, and sleep checklists.

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.

· Minimum 1–2 years of experience in early childhood teaching roles (preferred but not mandatory).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong understanding of child development and classroom management.

· Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

· Passionate about early years education and child care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
