Taxation and Accounts Executive

Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years in a Chartered Accountancy Firm
Firm Background: A well-established, 30-year-old Chartered Accountancy firm offering comprehensive services in taxation, audit, accounting, and corporate compliance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Taxation & Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally, GST compliance, TDS filings, Accounting, and ROC-related work, gained through at least two years of experience in a CA firm. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, statutory compliances, and supporting senior team members in client assignments.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime.
• Handle day-to-day accounting, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements for clients.

2. GST Compliance

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C assistance).
• Perform reconciliation of GSTR-2B with books.
• Assist in GST registrations, amendments, and replying to departmental queries/notices.

3. TDS & Income Tax Work

• Prepare and file TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
• Generate TDS challans, verify Form 26AS, and manage routine TDS compliances.
• Assist in preparing computation of income for individuals/firms/companies.

4. ROC & Company Law Compliance

• Support in filing ROC forms (AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC, etc.)
• Assist in company incorporation and relevant documentation.

5. Audit Support

• Assist in statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit assignments.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation as per standards.

6. Client Coordination

• Communicate with clients for data collection, clarifications, and follow-up on compliances.
• Maintain timely follow-up on due dates and ensure compliance calendars are met.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a CA firm.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax basics, and ROC filings.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle clients professionally.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (preferred).
• Additional certifications in GST or accounting software will be an added advantage.Qualifications
