Tax Supervisor, Financial Services/ Asset Management

We are looking for a skilled Tax Supervisor to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 4-9 years of experience in business taxation, preferably with Big 4 or large national/regional accounting firms. Roles and Responsibility Provide detailed review and analysis of complex Private Equity, Hedge Fund, and/or partnership tax returns. Serve as a mentor to associates and senior associates, providing real-time project feedback and regular check-ins. Work on multiple complex issues and communicate effectively with clients and the service team. Manage risk for both clients and the firm while advising on a full spectrum of tax services. Review research findings to ensure consistency with firm policies and professional standards. Assist with new business development, extended service, and tax issue recognition for existing clients. Job Requirements Master's degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field. Active CPA, CA, or EA certification is required. Possess working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance. Demonstrate the ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or collect necessary information for tax service requirements. Exhibit a proven track record of managing client engagements from start-to-end. Be familiar with RSM's total rewards package and able to balance life's demands while serving clients.
