Tax Specialist

Role Overview: As a Senior Tax Specialist at Deutsche Brse Group in India, you will play a crucial role in managing all tax-related matters for the Indian entity and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment and develop expertise in tax operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage compliance with Indian direct and indirect tax regulations such as GST, TDS, income tax, and transfer pricing. - Establish and maintain local tax processes, including a tax compliance management system. - Coordinate with external consultants and authorities on tax matters. - Stay updated on changes in Indian tax laws and facilitate internal communication. - Assist in internal and external audits, along with tax-related documentation. - Contribute to tax planning and risk assessments. - Support IFRS-based reporting by handling current and deferred tax calculations and disclosures. - Collaborate with the German headquarters on tax-related topics. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or similar qualification is preferred. - Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in Indian tax compliance and advisory. - Strong understanding of Indian tax laws. - Attention to detail and analytical skills. - Excellent English communication skills. - Experience in a multinational setting is advantageous.,
